Windows Media Player will not sync with device

I have been trying to sync my cell phone to windows media player and it says
error message "C00D1179". For some reason it is not a listed under
troubleshooting so I have no idea what the problem is. The computer
recognizes the hardware and I did try it will another computer at the store
and it works. Someone please help

I don't think media player on a Mac supports syncing to anything, not
even mobile phones.
