On the PC, as long as you have a flashplayer installed on IE, you can
play SWF content within the Windows Media Player by calling it via an
ASX file.
On the Mac, this doesn't seem to work. Can anyone confirm that the
Windows Media Player (Version 9) for Mac does not play Macromedia Flash
content (even if you have the Flash Player installed on the Mac)?

it only plays wma wmv and mp3 (without VBR or other similar)
