It was last October when I installed Window Media Player 9.0 to Mac.
Since that, I cannot install any software to my computer. The pop up message
tells me that installing error is occured.

I tried to unistall the Windows Media Player. I put it into the trash box,
but I couldn't empty the box because some (.htm) files are locked. Although,
I unlocked everything, I still get a message. Those file names are not found
from the finder.

Please tell me how to unlock those.
The file names are such as;
wmphelp.htm
wmplcon.gif
whatsnew.htm
volueme.gif
understanding.htm
toviewstart.htm
toviewinformation.htm

Thank you.

I tried the Alt option but it still tells me that those same files are locked
and doesn't let me erase them. Please somebody help me uninstall Media Player
9 for Mac. I have a Mac Book Pro Notebook. Thanks!

Did you try holding alt as you were emptying the trash through the Dock
or the menu??

I don't know if you figured this out yet but I had the same problem.  Click
on the trash, click on Finder on the menu bar, the "Empty Trash feature
should be active, hold down the "alt" key and empty the trash from there.
Hope this helps.
