I use Win XP on a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop.  For the first 3 weeks,
everything was fine and the syncing worked peachy but all of a sudden, it
doesn't work anymore.  I get an error message that says "Windows Media Player
has encountered an error. This can occur when another program or operating
system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of
the problem to the player."  I've uninstalled and redownloaded the drivers
for the mobile device, uninstalled and redownloaded Windows Media Player 10
from the microsoft site and nothing is helping.  Can anyone give me a clue
what to try to fix this error?

Wrong newsgroup then... This is the WMP Mac newsgroup :-)
No idea how to answer your question (we don't even have WMP10 and
they've abandinned WMP9 for Mac).
