I have publishing points that are for course material that require us to
control access.  We opt to use the 'WMS Publishing Points ACL Authorization'
within WMS.  When this is enabled it makes it so our Mac clients can't
connect to our streams using WMP v9 for Mac.  Is there any workaround for
this or something I am not seeing?

Well there is a well known bug in regard of https in WMP for Mac,
WMP fails the authentication process. It might be related to the fact
that it send request in http 1.0 to server working with http1.1 :-(

By the way, for this second possibility: try to connect through the IP
address of the server directly instead of doing it with a domain name.
