WMP V9.0 on MacOS X 10.4.3 displays the following when I try to play some purchased tracks:

"In order to play this file, you need to upgrade your media player to a version compatible with
Windows Media Rights Manager V7. Select View Compatible Players below to see a list of compatible
media players.
If your current media player does not have a Windows Media Rights Manager V7 compatible version, you
should select a different player with the Windows Media Rights Manager V7 identifier."

The 'list below' shows a couple of windows based players :-(

The tracks play on WMP 10.00.00.3646 on Virtual PC 7.0.2 on my iMac G4, but the sound breaks up if
there is any other application running than WMP.

I guess I'll stick to iTunes....

We've all asked this question several times - the response was mostly
deafening silence ;-)

:->

We can play *some* DRM-protected files. WMP 9 supports DRM up to 1.3,
but 99% of the sites now use at least DRM7.
