Hi,

the local provider for video on demand services in Sweden uses a technology
based on WMP as I understand it. As the Mac client has only limited support
for DRM, this service in not available to users running anything else than
Windows. Is this being worked on by the Mac team at MS or is there any
workaround to solve this?

TIA

MS only provides support for DRM up to 1.3 in WMP for Mac. It's not
broken (that's one of the very few things that's not broken in this app
:-> ) it's simply not there....

Hi,

yes I know this is the fact, DRM support up to 1.3 or whatever. But the
question is if there is any workaround (though I doubt that) or if MS is
working on to fix it in a future release. If they are at all serious about
their support of the Mac platform they should provide a decent media player
for the platform.

Yeah, the problem is that MS doesn't post in this newsgroup and I'm not
sure they even monitor it at all... No public (or provate ;-)  )
announcement has been made.
