Is there any third-party converter, for mac, that converts wmp to other
formats..? My media player is down and I need something to convert my
project files quickly. Thanks.

Try EasyWMA <http://www.easywma.com/> or MusicMan
<http://www.mireth.com/pub/mpme.html>, or Flip4Mac WMV Studio
<http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm>.

You might also find Flip4Mac's WMV Player, which allows you to play Windows
Media in QuickTime, useful.

You can also try ffmpeg X. This wonderful app recognises a lot of codecs
and can transcode the file in other formats that are a lot easier to
play on a Mac (eg: DivX or MPEG4 with AVC/H264 video and AAC audio).
