Mac Forum / Applications / Virtual PC / April 2004ArcMAP or ArcGIS on Virtual PC?
Have you run either of these programs on Virtual PC? If so, what were your experiences? Do you have any recommendation on system configuration? I checked with the manufacturer 2 years ago w/VPC 5(yes, that's a long time ago...) and they said that the ArcView software would not be supported on or run on a virtual machine. I believe that there is a freeware alternative. I found it on the Web one day, it was created for the USGS. It is supposed to open ArcView files, but I do not remember that name.
