I'm using VPC 6.1 in Windows XP on MAC OS10.2.8. I can't get my Epson
CX5200 to print. It seems to be a problem with the driver but what?
It's the most recent version downloaded from Epson. (Do any Epson
printers work with VPC?) Is it a problem with Windows XP? Anyone
have an idea? Thanks.

First of all, have you updated Windows with Windows Update ? And
restart the PC after( In the VPC menus, control and restart).
I believe that for the Printer you have not follow exactly the Epson
's guide,
when ask restart the PC, you have to restart the PC only and not with
the power button.
My Epson 760 printer is installing on Windows 98 SE since 3 and half
years and works very well. Just like my Epson scanner....and Zip
100Mo, PenDisk 32 Mo which are installed on Windows . My LaCieCD
burner,
floppy drive, Microsoft mouse work very well installed all on the mac
side with the help of VPC which allow them to work on Windows.
You have to install the printer without switch on the printer. And
when the driver is installed, switch on the printer and install the
software.
If you speak french because I'm french, this a link for VPC:

There are on the link 2 methods to install an USB device
- for the printer with downloading drivers on the site of the builder.
Just like you.
- for the scanner without, only with the CD provided by Epson.
I hope help in french will help you.
You have to install the printer as usually it's done for a real PC.
