I have Virtual PC for Mac 6.01 with Windows XP Home--I use it
exclusively in web design work to view sites in IE 6. I would like to
install IE 5 as well for the same purpose. Is it possible to run two
browsers in Virtual PC without installing a separate operating system
(Windows 2000, I assume)?  IF so, where do I find and how do I install
IE 5? And if not, is it possible to run two operating systems on one
version of Virtual PC, and are there clear online instructions
somewhere for doing this?

Further question: is there any advantage to upgrading to Virtual PC
6.1?

Thanks!

You can only run 1 version of IE in Windows.

You can have as many VMs as you have disk space and proper licensing.

To create a new VM, follow the New PC Assistant, then install your
Windows just like you would on a real PC.  Boot off the cd-rom or boot
disk and follow the on-screen prompts.

See my site for the Install PDF.

I have not been able to access your website to find the "Install PDF" you refer to.

Sorry, its back.

I run the website in a VM, and I forgot to restore it after I had
rebooted from installing the April Windows patches.
