I recently bought Virtual PC version 7 for my G-5 and this is the
program which uses SP2/Windows XP but due to a application
incompatibility with Windows XP SP2 I need to uninstall SP2 and revert
back to SP1.  I have attempted to unistall without any success. Any
assistance would greatly be appreciated.

I don't have VPC 7 but on my system where I installed SP2 myself, I can
remove SP2 from the Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

What error are you seeing?

If it shipped with Windows XP SP2, you won't be able to uninstall.
What they shipped you is the equivalent of if you had purchased a
hardware PC and it came with XP SP2.

If you want XP SP1, you will need to install that to a new drive image
yourself using a Windows XP install CD. Or, if you owned an earlier
version of Virtual PC that came with XP SP1, I think you can convert
the drive image to VPC 7.
