I was working in Virtual PC 6 and the electricity went out.  Now when I
restarted it, it says that it was not shut down properly and gives me the
option to choose safe mode, safe mode with Networking, Safemode with Command
Prompt, Last known good configuration, or Start Windows Normaly.

I have tried all of these options and they just bring me back to the same
screen.  Do I have to reinstall again!!??

When you select the option, it takes you back to the screen (with a
confirmation message at the bottom about what mode will be started) and then
you can either hit enter, or wait for the timer and it should then take you
into the selected mode
Happens to my Œreal¹ PC as well !

I realize this, however, it never does anything.  It just keeps bringing me
back to the same screen each time.  If I hit enter or wait, it does nothing
but bring me back to the same screen.

What happens if you try and start in Safe Mode? I'd let it fully start
up in Safe Mode, and then shut the machine down from Windows (don't
close VM and save state). I should think that will solve the problem.

Oh, and if you're running with Undo Drives enabled, you can instead
shut the VM down and discard your changes. You WILL lose everything
since you turned undo drives on, or last committed your changes if you
do this, so don't do this except as a last resort.
