Loss / lock-up of keyboard and mouse response

Ever since I update my OS X to 10.3.5, VPC 6.1.1 has frequently
stopped responding to keyboard and mouse input. The application
refuses to quit even when force-quitted and will not respond to any
AppleScript commands. I can still switch to the Virtual PC window, and
the display still updates. The items in the status bar still update
(HD use, network use, etc.) but do not respond to clicks.

Any help with this?

Thanks!

I've had this happen too. I believe it's happened after the Mac screen saver
has kicked in... Can you confirm this?

I've had a Windows program "vpchelp" stop responding - perhaps this is the
cause of the mouse no longer responding. I can see the Mac cursor over the
Windows window, but cannot get the white Windows cursor.

I don't think this is related to the Mac OS X screensaver as I suggested in
an earlier post.
