Hi,

I'm a student at a university that gives students an academic licence
for Windows XP and I was just wondering if it would work with virtual
pc standalone.  Is that what this version is for?  Would I lose any
functionality from getting the standalone vs. just getting a regular
version?

Thanks,

Tim

Yes, the stand alone version of VPC is for people who already have a
license of Windows.

No, after you install the VPC Additions that come with VPC into your
Windows it will function just like the Windows XP that comes with VPC.
