Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Hello,
I noticed left and middle button (using any usb mouse) are generating the same event in VPC 7.0.3 that is "button 1", this didn't happen with VPC 6.x .
I checked events using xev under emulated X11, this seems not being related to the operating system though, Plan9 can't work fine too due to lack of middle button event.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I sent a feedback via website hoping a new patch could address it, is there a specific way to report a bug? (I wasn't able to find one)
Bye

Start Windows and go into the Control Panel and select MOUSE. From there
verify that under the Hardware Tab it states VM Additions PS/2 Port Mouse.
If not try setting it to that. Also from here you can test the mouse out to
make sure it is working properly.

Thanks for replying,
I checked in win 2000 and the mouse is "VM Additions PS/2" but the problem isn't related to a windows driver, it's something in the emulator itself.
Until 6.x it used to work just fine, I suspect the problem is due to a bad bitmask or condition in the mouse control routine becaue mouse wheel actions are correctly seen as button 4 and 5. And again this happen with different physical mice.
I suspect the person or people who actually developed the app could address this bug in minutes but how get in touch with them? And will an official patch be ever released?
Who could I ask those two questions to?
