Got an E-mail from Microsoft Yesterday about Windows 2008 Server Trial being
available for download so I grabbed it.  I'm in the process of installing it
now under VPC 7.03.  I suspect it will install but may be slow like Vista.
I know I'll wrestle with getting the network card configured like under
Vista but it should work.  I'll report my findings in a couple of days.

You can also install just the Core if performance using the GUI is too poor.

Yeah I know about the Command Line install.  I will have to give it a try
one of these days.

Well Windows Server 2008 installed as Windows Server Standard just fine.
Took a while like Vista.  I ended up getting the Network Card going via the
same process that I did with Vista.

Performance wise Server 2008 runs much better than Vista under VPC 7.03.
Gut check feel is that it runs similar to XP Pro.
