scvmm and host

I have jsut insatlled scvmm.
I used (with virtual server) backuped script to stop virtual server (host
are in saved mode) , backup  and then restart virtual server.

Do we have to do the same thing with scvmm?

new formulation:
I have just installed scvmm.
to backup host of Virtual Server, I use script to stop VS then backup host
(in saved mode), then restart VS.
Do we have to do the same thing with scvmm?

This is a VPC for Macintosh users newsgroup.  On this one you should ask in
the microsoft.public.virtualserver newsgroup.
