Hi Fellas:
I recently installed the SCVMM trial and I am trying to create virtual
machines with it.
I currently have three 2005 R2 x64 Virtual Servers in my SCVMM console added
as known hosts.
I can see all of my previously-created virtual machines but if I use the
console to create a new machine, I cannot do a VMRC connection to any of them
because the display shows the default "list" view of the virtual machines
that you would normally see in the old IE-based Virtual Server console - very
strange.
If I connect to the SCVMM using the actual server (not remote console), I
can see and connect to any of the virtual machines.
I haven't been able to find any information on this product or issues
related. I thought that it may have been an issue with my template or an
outdated version of the additions or something so I installed a VM from
scratch using the IE console.
The machine showed up fine in the SCVMM console and I could connect to the
machine until I assigned an "owner" to it in the advanced properties. Is
this a rights issue? After I changed the owner I could no longer connect to
it. I even tried reversing the ownership rights that I changed but now I get
the stupid default view again.
Very frustrating.
Please assist.

You have posted to the VPC for Macintosh newsgroup. I think you want the
microsoft.public.virtualserver newsgroup instead.
