OS error when opening Virtual PC for MAC

I have been using Virtual PC for Mac (version 7.0.2 (050607)) for more some
time on a PowerPC G5. The current operating system is OS X version 10.4.11.

Starting last week, when I try to start the program. Virtual PC generates
the error message "Virtual PC for Mac received an unexpected OS error (1).
Please report this problem to Microsoft technical support." .

I tried to contact Microsoft technical support but was unable to because I
could not supply the product ID because I can not open the program!

The one thing which has changed since the last time I was able to run
Virtual PC for Mac is I had to update iTunes to register my new tough iPod,
and the latest version of the operating system.

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to resolve it?

Try the usual OSX fixes like fixing Disk Permission and Repair Disk.  If
that does not fix it then I would copy the PLIST file to the Desktop and let
VPC create a new one at next launch.  If you need instructions on how to do
any of this respond back and myself or someone else will be able to walk you
through easily.

You're Welcome.  I can't tell you how many time myself I forget to do that
first and spend extra time chasing issues.
