I'm using Virtual PC 6.1 on an old PowerMac G4, MacOS 9.2.2. The
virtual machine is running Windows 2000 SP3 as installed from the VPC
CD; it's been updated to SP4 via Windows Update, plus a variety of
different security updates and what-not have been applied.
How do I enable Recovery Console?
The VPC 6 box doesn't contain an original Win2000 setup CD, so the
instructions mentioned in the Microsoft Knowledge Base don't apply.
Before anyone says that this is a Win2000 problem, remember that VPC 6
ships with a "pre-installed" OS; there's no setup CD that I know about.

You don't and indeed can't, as has been mentioned in a earlier post.
You reinstall. If you don't have it, try contacting Microsoft to get a
replacement or buying a copy of VPC 7 from eBay. AFAIK, those are your
only options.

You could try and contact MS support and explain your situation. I've heard
that, in the past, they've given VPC users a standard Windows CD to correct
this problem. YMMV and I can't give you any guarantees, other than have all
your documentation and be nice to the reps.
