I'm running XPSP2 in Virtual PC 2007 on my Vista Ultimate computer and I'm
very impressed - I can now run all those programs that won't run under Vista,
but I cannot access my printer (USB) or my scanner (IEEE1394). I've read that
Virtual PC 2007 will not recognise USB or IEEE1394 ports - so how can I print
or scan? Is there a work-around?

Well, for one thing, you can post to a Virtual PC (for the PC) news
groups.  This is for the discontinued Virtual PC for Macintosh product
with also doesn't support USB very well (no 2.0).

My SWAG would be to either wait to until there are Vista drivers for
your USB printer and scanner or dump Vista and use XP.
