Have you run any ping tests? What are the results?
When you run ipconfig, what IP address is it giving you?
I get an address of 192.168.1.110 and it is 109 on the host machine so it
appears I am getting an IP address but I cannot open up any websites - I get
a page not found and the same page works just fine on the host machine.
As I am sure you can tell from the IP address, I have a router hooked up.
Thanks for your help.

Sounds like DNS. In Windows, go to the Control Panel and open up
Network Connections. Open the Local Area Connection and click on
'Properties' in the lower left corner. Next, Double click on Internet
Protocol TCP/IP. There will be a dot beside 'Assign a DNS server
address automatically'. Put the dot beside 'Use the following DNS
server addresses' Use 4.2.2.2 for the primary DNS server address and
leave the alternate blank (4.2.2.2 is the public DNS server at Yahoo)
That should do it.

Hi Paul -
I tried what you suggested and it still does not work.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks again for your time.

If you don't need Virtual Switch networking, with the VM shutdown,
switch your VM to "Shared Networking" under Settings > Networking
In Windows, you should be using DHCP or "obtain address automatically"
in Local Area Connection > TCP/IP
