I transferred all of my files from my Powerbook to my new MacBook
Pro. Now that Virtual PC won't work on my MacBook, is there a way to
access the files (such as Quickbooks) that are imbedded in my Virtual
PC?

Parallels Desktop is one of the applications that allow you to run
Windows on an Intel-based Mac. It now includes a special application to
migrate VirtualPC drives to Parallels so that you can retrieve the
data.
BUT, you are not allowed to re-use the version of Windows that came
bundled as part of Virtual PC. If you're version of Virtual PC wasn't
the "no Windows" version (or in some cases had an original Windows box
bundeld as an in-store deal) then you MUST buy a proper version of
Windows.

If you have the your old VirtualPC hard disk file on your MacBook Pro,
use Parallels Shared Folders feature to make it available to the
Parallels VM. Then in Parallels download a copy of WinImage at
http://www.winimage.com/
With WinImage you will be able to open the BaseDrive.vhd file of your
old VirtualPC file and be able to navigate within it using an Explorer
interface. Just drag the files/folders you need into your Parallels image.
This worked for me.
