Same here. From the crashdump, Safari needs a processor instruction not
emulated by VPC's Pentium II.  Safari will probably never run under VPC...

Application exception occurred:
        App: C:\Program Files\Safari\Safari.exe (pid=960)
        When: 6/15/2007 @ 22:20:39.461
        Exception number: c000001d (illegal instruction)

Why bother, particularly with a beta?  Just run Safari on OS X.
Surely you can run the current Win browsers on VPC.

Running Safari for Windows can be handy for people wanting to test
websites on as many browsers as possible ... but you're right, it's not
worth bothering with until there's a final release version.

That would be why I would want it.

Yes but IE sucks and I prefer not to jump back and forth while in VPC.
OH WELL..
Thanks all.

Try FireFox or Opera, or wait for a real release of Safari which may or
may not make any difference with Virtual PC compatibility.

Unfortunately Virtual PC is a dead product designed to run on a nearly
obsolete Mac chip, and emulates a chipset / computer which is even
older, so we're basically reaching the end of its useful life.    :o(

This an old post but it should be noted that after the last Safari
update, its work fine on VPC.
