I am running OS X 10.4 (tiger) on a MacBook Pro and Vrtual PC 7 will
not work with my OS. I believe that all I need to do is to download
the 7.0.2 update ofr Virtual PC but firefox nor safari will open the
page once i click download. I get a cannot find server error for each.
I also tried downloading it on my PC and then using a jump drive to
bring the file to my mac but it will not let me download it from my
PC. HELP!?!

thanks

Your situation is an FAQ.  Unfortunately Microsoft Virtual PC comes from
a long history of being a PowerPC-only product.  It will never run under
an Intel Mac and is fundamentally incompatible with Rosetta.

Microsoft has end-of-lifed Virtual PC you should consider other
alternatives in the market such as Parallels, VMware, or CrossOver.  Of
these three, the VMware Beta is currently free and final pricing is not
yet announced.

The next question usually asked is can you use your Windows from Virtual
PC with Parallels, VMware, etc.  The answer is legally no, so you
should possibly return or sell your Virtual PC at auction site or
similar to recover your cost towards a license for Windows on other
virtualization product.
