I'm considering to purchase Microsoft® Virtual PC for Mac Version 7. I
have a PowerBook G4 and wonder if I can run Microsoft® Virtual PC for
Mac Version 7 on it, or if I'll have to use the previous version. I
appreciate any help on this topic.

Regards,
Caiila

Microsoft VPC 7.1 for Mac runs well on a Powerbook G4 with OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

What is the speed of the processor? How much RAM do you have?

VPC7 requires a minimum 700Mhz processor and at least 512MB of RAM.

Also, there is no VPC 7.1 version. The latest is 7.0.2

My experience with VPC 6 & 7, Win XP Pro, a Powerbook G4 15", I believe 1.6
gHz  - it was top of the line about a year before the MacBook Pro with Intel
Duo hit the market, and the one just before the magnetic power connector, OSX
10.3x and 10.4, and 1G RAM was that it was so slow as to be worthless, even
for very simple, small programs.  I paid $2700 for the Powerbook.  The only
"extra" I could have gotten was the 17" display, which was too large for my
situation.

Sorry for my late reply. Been on vacation...

Processor: 1.5 GHz
Memory: 512 MB DDR SDRAM

Should work then, right?
