In your first post you mention inserting a CD, rebooting, etc. That won't
work with the Windows thats included with VPC. You can't manually install
it.
Windows is already preinstalled and should just get copied over when you do
an install of VPC.
I no longer have a Mac setup so I can't give you exact directions, sorry.
If you can't get it resolved before the weekend, I'll see if I can get my
mini hooked up.
A while back there were some similar posts about installation problems, and
IIRC, the solution was to not restart the Mac when prompted by VPC, but
continue the installation.
At some point during the installation you should get a prompt for the next
CD. If the install goes correctly, it will copy Windows and set it up in
the VPC List.
Can you try the install from scratch again and see what happens?

How many disks are in the package you are using?
