Howdy:

I am running 10.4 on a G4 laptop with a new copy of VP7.0.2.

It is networked to a PC desktop and laptop.

The PC desktop and laptop mount onto the G4 just fine.

However, when I try to mount the VPC folders onto the PC devices, I am
asked to enter my username and password, and for some reason it will
not take.  It appears to be confusing this machine with the desktop, as
I try to enter the username, it automatically converts it to the
desktop directory.  The PC/laptop see the workgroup and recognize the
name of the VPC machine, however, I just can't get the username and
password to take.

Any help please??????

thank you
Mark.

You need to change over to Virtual Switch networking to access
resources on a local network. Go to PC in the VPC menu bar, click on PC
Settings. Go to Networking and change to Virtual Switch and press
Restart
