When I put a 2.0 usb in it states that it's in a 1.1 usb hub and tells me
that it need an upgrade. Both usb's on my ibook allow 1.1 and 2.0 usb. I'm
not sure haw I would upgrade it ether.

VPC only emulates a USB 1.1 port.  This is all a VM will have,
regardless of what the Mac has.

There is no upgrade for VPC for USB 2.0 support.
