I updated my laptop to a MacBook Pro and did not realize that Virtual
PC was not compatible. It will not launch and I am unable to run the
uninstall tool either. Microsoft does not have any information
available on their support pages regarding this issue. What files need
to be removed to uninsall Virtual PC?

The couple of "application uninstallers" I've tried (CleanApp and
AppZapper) fail to completely remove all the bits of VPC from the
machine. If this is something you want to do, why not call Microsoft's
Tech support line? Unless you've used your 2 free support calls, they
might be able to help you.
It's not pretty as there are System components to remove and the machine
will have to be rebooted. You'll most likely have to do this from the
Terminal as root.

Go to www.appzapper.com and d'load Appzapper.app.The program works on
both Mactel and PPC Macs. Once installed you can drag and drop the VP
executable on it and it will find all the components of Virtual PC and
ask you if you want to delete them. Click yes and that should do it.
The program costs $12.95 with free upgrades for life. Very useful for
completely deleting a program and all its associated files.

There is no need to uninstall Virtual PC at all. The program loads the file into a temp folder and when the installation quits (as it will do!) the temp file is removed and nothing is installed. Any remnants left behind (maybe prefs and read me's) can be removed by doing a search from Spotlight for Virtual PC and trashing the files.
