Command line options for Virtual PC

Dear all

I'd like to start Virtual PC from a script and specify the image to load and
to launch. For that I need the command line options. Sounds like a trivial
question, but all I could find were the ones for Virtual PC on top of
Windows, but obviously they don't work on the Mac.

I know that VPC is able to pick up a session that was running when VPC was
shut down, but this will not benefit me, since in this case I have to
reconnect an USB device manually. However I want to have the set up
completely unattended.

Thank you for your help!

open /path/to/image.vpc7

works for me.  You don't need to run VPC with command-line options,
because the default application for opening images should be VPC.

Thank you, Barry.

That's too easy. It seems in several years of working with Windows, I have
forgotten the goodies of NextStep. "open" nicely by then...

I found a different solution. More complicated, but at least I discovered
the virtue of AppleScript.

Again, thanks a lot.
