LOST MY INTERNET EXPLORE ...HELP

AFTER ADDING A NEW PROGRAM AND CLOSING IT OUT, I NOTICED THE IE EXPLORE
ICON WAS GONE FROM MY DESKTOP. GOING TO START AND CLICKING ON IT THERE
ONLY BRINGS UP THE TOOL PREFERENCES BOX...HOW DO I GET IT
BACK...ANYONE? I NEED TO GET ON THE WEB!!!    HELP

[as we lower our voices and turn off our CAPS key]

The IE application should still be under the Programs in the Start menu.  
Is it still there?  If not, looks like you're due for a re-install.
