Hi ... I just got VPC 7 installed with the 7.0.2 update. Am not a
technical guy. Installed a game i got (Sherlock Holmes Silver Earring)
and it installed perfectly installing DirectX 9 in the process. when i
run it it, main menu then PLAY (within the application), but then
nothing.

So iread iin a few groups that if a game needs 32Mb 3D accelerated
functiionality then VPC doesn't support that level of spohistication.
I'm hoping against hope that someone has better new?

can someone confirm, or otherwise, if VPC will run a game that has a
minimum requirement of "32MB DirecX compatible 3D accelerated video
card" ... thanks!

No, VPC will not run any software that requires a 3D accelerated card,
and/or requires 32MB.
