Lost Internet Connection

I'm not sure with which upgrade I lost my connection.  It used to run
fine.  I'm running OS 10.4.6 and VPC 7.02 with Windows XP Pro on a G5
iMac.  When troubleshooting I find a blank window in the Network
Connections control panel and no Network Adapter listed in the Device
Manager.  All troubleshooting seems to lead to a blank wall.
Really need some help.
Thanks,
Jacob

Sounds to me like you disabled Networking in VPC.

Go to PC/PC Settings and make sure that Networking is 'enabled'

Thanks for the reply
Networking is enabled via Shared Networking

Change it to Switched Networking.

Changed to Virtual Switch and still no connection and the same blank
Network Connections control panel.

Go to the Windows Control Panel. Start the Add New Hardware Wizard.
Place a dot beside 'Yes, I have already installed the Hardware'. When
the list populates, add the Intel 21041-Based PCI Ethernet Adapter.

The adapter is not listed in the installed list.  Did a C: drive search
for PCI Ethernet Adapter and found no files.  Tried to add new hardware
from the list of installed and Windows hangs.
Thanks for the help though.

Reinstalled Windows XP.  All is fine.  Thanks for all the suggestions.
