I know this is probably a very stupid question, but after froogling for the
best deal on Virtual PC 7.0 I just want to clarify the difference between
the folowing:

- Home Edition
- Professional Edition
- Upgrade

I'm asking because (believe it or not) the information on some sites
conflicts.

Many thanks.

The 'Upgrade' does not contain a Windows OS

Home Edition refers to Windows XP Home Edition.

Professional is Windows XP Professional. The difference between Home
Edition and Professional is that the Pro version contains resources for
LAN and WAN connections in office environments (like joining domains,
etc.).

Thanks for that Paul, It looks like I need the Full Home Edition then, any
recommendations of cheap retailers (UK/online). I'm watching a copy on ebay
(unused/unopened) but don't feel that confident buying something like this
from ebay.

Cheers
