VPC7 DOS window question (corrected)

I've been running PC's since 1987 and just bought my first
Apple last week ... a 17" Powerbook G4.  I also purchased
and installed Virtual PC for MAC v7 with Windows XP Home
Edition, only to discover there's no way to open a DOS window.
All of my PC's are running Windows98se which has this option.

My question ... is there a version of Virtual PC (or some other
application) that will allow DOS programs to run like they do on
Windows98se?  I see there's a version VPC with Windows 2000,
but don't feel like spending another $250 just to find out it won't
support DOS.

Thank you for reading this note.  Please reply by e-mail to

Go to start/run and type in CMD.exe

Be aware that this will be nowhere near as compatible as Windows 98 so
I recommend installing Windows 98 in VPC or downloading DosBox from
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net
