Will the Virtual run on the newly released Mac Book Pro ?
Just got my MacBook Pro and can't get Vrtual PC to run on it.
Was wondering if it's compatable with the dual Intel chip and if
there's an update that anyone knows of...
Thanks for your help.

VirtualPC does NOT run on the new Intel Macs at all.
You'll have to wait for Microsoft to completely re-write the entire
application, so it's likely to be a year or more before it's released.
There are other people also working on getting Windows running on Intel
Macs (either via "emulation" or simply booting Windows), but nodoby has
it working fully yet, and again it's likely to be quite a while before
they do.
Basically if you need Windows, either stick with a PowerPC Mac with
VirtualPC or buy a Windows computer. When buying a new computer you
should check everything you need will work BEFORE buying it, and that's
especially true when it's a completely new design like the Intel Macs.

somewhere out there on the net there is an article - cant remeber where
I read it but you can install a virtual machine on a powerbook and then
transfer it to an Intel based Mac - never tried this as I wont buy one
until virtual PC or some other mechanism for running windows is
available.

And you believe every article posted on the Internet?

Extremely unlikely - and April Fools Day is still just under two weeks
away.
VirtualPC is very complicated and relies heavily on the chip, that's
why it had to be rewritten for the G5 and now has to be rewritten again
for the Intel Macs.
