I Have VPC 6.1.1 w/ WinXp. When I re-size the desktop the window
changes but the desktop does not fill it up. Same for full screen
mode. Desktop stays small box. I definetly have the additions
installed, and have chosen 'match pc to mac' setting in the
preferences. This is an upgrade from the actual Connectix disk to the
Microsoft downloaded upgrade. It worked when it was just Connectix and
in OSX Jaguar. Now I have Mac OSX 10.3.4 Panther. Any ideas?

The only suggestion I have is to play around with different resolution
setting from the Windows Control Panel.  It works for me, so I'm no going to
test it and then break it, but it seems that there is some dependency there.
And I know that when you resize, it changes that value for you. For example,
I have VPC running on an external 20-inch at 1280x1024 as far as the Mac is
concerned.  The value in Windows is 1280x924, which leaves room for VPC's own
top menu bar and that bottom status bar. But whenever I change the size of
the window, the Windows control panel is modified for me.

Change the Windows XP>Control Panel> Display setting to 800x600 with
millions colors, you will have that size in VPC Windowed mode and a
full screen display when selected for VPC.

Check the properties for the display and make sure that the display is
set to plug and play monitor, or an LCD screen that can handle the
size you want and NOT set to default monitor.
