I apologize if this is a duplicate but I don't see my post from 11/27.

I am trying to install Virtual PC Mac 7 on a Powerbook G4 running OS X
10.4.3.  After the installer runs the computer restarts and I get
several messages that have been posted elsewhere in this group, but I
also get the message "Must be logged in as an administrator to complete
Virtual PC installation." I am the only user of this computer.  The
only option that I have is to quit. I am never able to proceed with the
setup of Virtual PC.  I have downloaded and run the 7.0.2 update but
when I try to bring Virtual PC up I get the same message. Any help
would be appreciated.   Thank you.,

Repair the disk permissions by running the Disk Utility in your
Utilities folder.

Thanks so much for the info. I would not have thought of that. It took
care of the problem.

John---

Did the solution offered to you work?  I have EXACTLY the same
situation and it is very very frustrating.

Thanks.

You should call PSS support. Installation and upgrade issues are always
free. Be sure to ask Customer Service to transfer you to the Virtual PC
for Mac support group. You do NOT want to be placed in the hands of
Windows support for these types of problems.

Jim,

This got rid of the message and I am continuing with the installation
and keeping my fingers crossed
