Running VPC w/Windows XP, IE6.
Is there any way to add/install other versions of IE (IE 5.0 & IE 5.5,
in particular) in addition to the IE6 included with VPC installation?
I'd like to be able to view html files for debugging in the various
browers.

IE is isn't designed for multiple version installation, the latest
version subsumes all other versions. XP comes with IE 6 which can be
somewhat difficult to uninstall.
I've seen hacks that allows IE 5 and 5.5 to co-exist but that's somewhat
tricky to setup and risky for test. The best known is probably Joe

The cleanest way is to make two more VPC machines with Windows 2000 have
IE 5.0 and 5.5 respectively. You could even store IE 5.5 in a
differencing drive or in an undoable drive if you're willing to hack
that into your VPC config.

Thanks, Richard...can you tell me how to do this, briefly? I am a total
ignoramux when it comes to Windows, or to VPC, for that matter; I'm
finding they are needing a different way of thinking than I've grown
accustomed to, mac-wise.

Basically, you buy another license of Windows, install it as a
separate VM in VPC and install the version of IE you want to test on.
