Upgrade VPC/Windows XP with SP2

Running vpc 7 on Tiger & doing well except have never been able to
connect xp to internet using internal modem.

Win xp is intergrated with vpc as originally installed from power on
software. I need to upgrade it via sp2, but microsoft site will not
download sp2 to a mac. What about buying the CD & then updating via
that?

Suggestions appreciated.

You don't need to get Windows to connect to the Internet with a modem.
Once your Mac is connected, you can simply use Shared Networking and
XP will "share" the Mac's connection.

Downloading SP2 with a dialup modem connection speed will be
excruciatingly slowwwwww. Try contacting a friend with a high speed
connection and download it to a CD........ the download site for the
file itself is:

I think the sp2-CD is free of charge
