I had no problems with the VPC7 install, and I can run a XP Pro virtual
machine fine, but I need to use Server 2003 and although the install appears
to have worked correctly, I can't get into the machine, because it asks me to
hit ctrl+alt+del, and it just wont work.
I tried changing the "backwards del" button that doesnt exist to F12, and
that wont work either. I'm thinking its because my 12" APB has the incomplete
keyboard, and was considering going out and buying a cheap keyboard, but it
appears that there are other VPC7 keyboard issues, just not the one im
having.. anyway, any suggestions would be great.

When Windows refers to the delete key, they mean forward delete, not
backspace.
This is not a VPC issue, just a limitation of the apple keyboard.
Luckily, apple has thought about this.

So, use CTRL-ALT-FN-DELETE (I think shift delete will work as well).

I actually knew that, about the delete key, but no combination of keys
(I really tried them all!) worked for me. VPC has a function to
"create" a backwards delete key, but it didnt work when I assigned a
key (I used f12) for it.
So I decided to go to the apple store, and ask them and buy an external
keyboard if necessary. Turns out it works perfectly with a normal sized
keyboard, so I bought a happy bluetooth keyboard and everything was
good.

Hi - there are two options to resolve this:
1. In the menu bar select 'PC' and then 'Type ctrl-alt-del'
2. Type ctrl-alt-del (using the delete key, not the backspace key)
These both worked for me.
