Yes, I printed a Word Document. I did have to wait a while.
The update does not remove the Virtual switching error message. I see
no difference at all between 7.0.1 and 7.0.2.

No offense, but I pray you wrong. I've been awaiting that Virtual
Switch fix before I can go get Tiger.

The Virtual Switch error went away here with the update

I still get the virtual switching error. The odd thing is when I ran
the update, then restarted, then repaired permissions.... I opened VPC
only to be told that some information was missing and the installation
had to be run again. This process went over and over again. So I
slipped in the original disc, installed again, ran the 7.0.2 update and
I get the virtual switch error message.
Like I said in my other post, why can't MS just get it right?

I will also chime in with a "Works for me". No error message, and when
I check kextstat in terminal, it is clearly loaded. Some other factor
must be at work here.

If you're still getting the Virtual Switch error, I'll bet serious
money that you're not running 7.0.2. If you renamed or moved the
Virtual PC application to another location on your harddrive, I'll bet
that the upgrader did not upgrade the app and you have multiple copies
of Virtual PC now.

Amen... I was clicking on the VP icon on the dock and thus was still
using VPC 7.0.1. I removed the icon from the dock and replaced it with
a new one from the Applications folder. No more VPS error!

I tried that but it didn't change anything. The odd thing is in the
Applications folder it shows as version 7.0.2 yet when I open it up I
get the virtual switch error message.
Oh well I guess this is why I use a Mac and not a pc.

What does it say in 'About Virtual PC' when Virtual PC is running?

Same here. No virtual switch error for me. And I know it's working
because I can use my company's VPN through it now and I couldn't before.

I installed 7.0.2 tonight on my Tiger G5 and no more VS error message
and printing works too.
Maybe I'm lucky......

Yes... just finished printing a 60 page PDF as a matter of fact. How is
your printer configured? Are you using the VM additions printer driver,
or USB. If you're using the VM additions driver, don't enable the
printer as USB... if you do, when VPC passess the document to the Mac
for printing, your printer will not be available because it's assigned
to the VM.
