The issue I am dealing with is that I can no longer connect to my
shared mac drives or folders without exporer generating errors and
crashing.  I can connect to another PC on LAN and get to the files
just fine.

Additionally, applications that I had loaded are litterally gone.
Those folders that were on the desktop, are gone.  these had
proprietary applications to my business and they disappeared.  Not
only that, the proprietary apps that I installed are not even on the
disc.  the applications that I had insalled like visio, publisher and
frontpage are gone not only out of startup but gone off the disk.
This is strange since things were working for five months.

The question is, I cannot install my proprietary apps since I cannot
get to the Mac shared folders.  Do I have to kill and wipe out Virtual
PC alltogether?  I have been running the 6.1.1 upgrade since the
begining of the year.  I do not do email or web browsing on the
virtual pc side so, viruses are questionable.

Anybody have an idea.

Thanks

There are only two things that I can think of that may have caused this:

1) You had a computer crash that caused corruption to the virtual hard disk

Or

2) You  had undo drives enabled - and accidentally undid months of work.

Either way you will probably have to reinstall everything. To fix the Mac
shared folders - I would try re-installing the Virtual PC Additions.

Cheers,
