VPC 5 to 7 Upgrade - Can't install XP Home

Similar to some of the posts that alread appear here I'm having some
trouble installing my version of XP home that came with VPC 5 on to my
newly upgraded version 7.  I'm not in a position to import an old
virtual machine from VPC 5, because none exists on my drive.  What I
want to do is install a fresh copy of XP Home into VPC 7.  Based on
what I've read in these forums I believe that my version of XP Home
isn't bootable, but it is unclear to me how to create/download a
bootable .vfd for XP Home.

Any suggestions?

There are 2, the easy one is to install the pre-installed XP Home and
import it into VPC 7.  Its relatively simple to install VPC5 and get
XP from it.

There is only one way to install XP Home from your disk.  You will
need to get the boot disks from Microsoft, (if you don't have a floppy
you will need to find a PC or another Mac with Windows or DOS
installed to make the disks/disk images), and make an ISO of your XP
System files cd-rom and modify the ISO image.  There are instructions
on my website for XP Pro, I assume it should work for XP Home although
I've never tried with Home.
