Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have exactly the same problem as in this link
<http://www.officeformac.com/ms/ProductForums/RemoteDesktopConnectionClient/350>

I don't understand why the above post was locked and the problem have not been solved in 7 months!

I only experienced this problem since I start to use mouse left handed, maybe there is something to do with this

AFAIK, this is by design, and you'll have to configure the mouse
settings on the server that you connect to. You should only have to
do this once.
More details here:

How can I allow my left-handed users to configure their mouse
buttons properly?

Thanks for reply
I am aware of that function.
The problem here is:
I have set configured the mouse locally on console first.
However, when I connected to RDP mac, it is still right handed, even when I open up control panel it shows as"left handed"
I have to change it back to right handed to reverse the button for mac RDP

Then next time if I use RDP from another PC, everything is back to right handed again!

I think it is the problem of mac RDP, PC RDP never has this problem

This has been non functional in RDC 2.0 since it's inception. I've submitted a bug report and had it dismissed with the same nonsensical response about changing it in control panel. The only thing to do is send feedback to the dev team from the help menu of RDC 2.0 and let them know. This is the only remote desktop client that behaves this way and it's a joke.

I've had this issue forever and it's never been addressed. As helpful as Vera meant to be, she overlooks the fact that some sessions are permanently locked and will not allow users to ever swap the clicks on the server. If looked at the plist, and other files only in vain. This only occurs on a Macbook Pro, and NOT on a Macbook. How odd is that? Do they even have testers for this product? Unfortunately, I have absolutely NO confidence that a) any MS employee from the MBDU reads these posts, and b) even if s/he did, it would result in any change. This is bloody annoying to say the least.
