Hi all great beta. My one problem is that when i log into any user on
a windows XP server, the user is logged off. If they attempt to
relogin, my RDC connection is broke. I would like to do some training,
so the user must be logged in to see my movements. the only error in
the events log (happens on login) is:
Driver Apple LaserWriter 8500 required for printer StudioC is not
installed on the server. Contact the administrator to install the
driver before you log in again
Huh?
Well, thanks for any help!!!!
This is by design. Windows XP is not a server OS, it's a single
user OS, so you can't have more than one user being logged on at
the same time.
What you want instead of RDC is Remote Control of the user session
on the XP, or Remote Assistance. With both techniques, you can see
and interact with the session which the user has on the XP client.
Remote Control requires a Windows Terminal Server.
I have no idea if Remote Assistance is possible from a Mac client,
I would guess not.
There might be other utilities which do the same.

For remote control you can use a free Windows VNC server
<http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/winvnc.html> and free Mac OS X
VNC client <http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/>.
Hope this helps!
