Using RDP 1.0.3. to connect OSX machines to xp desktops

Using RDP 1.0.3 on my osX 10.4, I am easily able to connect to ip
addresses (servers)
When I try to specify port numbers (i.e. 60000), RDP comes back with
"Cannot Connect messages"
Any ideas on how to get around this ?

This isn't possible with the Macintosh client. Documented here:
