I have Mac OS 10.4.8 and RDC 1.0.3 and connecting to a Win XP machine.
I am having an issue while using Filemaker Pro 6 remotely. Any
Filemaker script that calls for a copy & paste of field contents will
not work. Anyone ideas if this is a glitch in RDC connection? I have
tried a remote connection from Win XP and the copy & paste works fine.

Anyone see copy & paste issues like this?

I'm not a FMP expert by any means but this sounds more like a problem
with RDC and and the local to remote copy/paste feature. RDC will allow
you to copy simple text on the Mac using Command + c (a Mac "copy") and
then paste it into the RDC Windows session using Control + v (a Windows
"paste"). You may have hit a bug.

Since FMP can be scripted to detect the local operating system, you
could possibly build in something that either copies and pastes using
either the Mac or Windows commands. As a means of troubleshooting
experiment by placing a pop-up dialog just before the "paste" function
that indicates which platform FMP thinks you're using and what it
"thinks" it has copied.

Hope this helps! bill
